Coach
Our Coach Program provides meaningful leadership and job experience for high school and college students while supporting young athletes ages 3–13. High school students work alongside experienced coaches to build skills in teamwork, responsibility, and mentorship, while college students gain hands-on coaching experience, strengthen leadership abilities, and make a positive impact in their community.
Quality coaching matters: well-trained coaches who build strong relationships with children can be life-changing, yet fewer than 20% of youth coaches receive formal training, less than 3% are under age 24, and fewer than 30% identify as female (Aspen Institute, State of Play). Our program helps close this gap by investing in young leaders.
Participants receive flexible scheduling, training, competitive starting pay of $15–$25 per hour, and access to transportation support, technology, mentorship, financial literacy and résumé workshops, community service opportunities, and professional networking.
