Beginner Swimming (Ages 5-14)

Beginner swimming is a program to develop confidence and competence in the water for those who have never swam before or who have very little experience. The goal of this program is:

  • Develop the skills and confidence to swim safely and navigate aquatic environments.

  • Demonstrate effective breath control to support efficient and comfortable swimming.

  • Gain confidence through mastery of foundational floating, kicking, and stroke techniques.

At this level, the goal is water safety.
